El ha estado moldeando esta arcilla y creando un recipiente de su gracia divina, la cual espero con tanta ilusión para servir a su pueblo, que es la Iglesia, un día confiado a mi".			Mi madre es una mujer de una fe muy profunda, y desde tierna edad infundió en mi un profundo amor a la eucaristía fue entonces que comprendí la importancia del sacerdocio y la certeza de la llamada del Señor a servirle en esta vocación especifica "El me ha llamado por mi nombre" (IS 43,5)

	Mi máxima inspiración fue un sacerdote que conocí cuando tenía 9 años. Era un sacerdote que amaba tanto su vocación que lo proyectaba; era muy feliz en su ministerio. Después mi familia alimento mi deseo de ser sacerdote con su ejemplo de entrega a Dios. Estoy seguro que el llamado a ser “sacerdote”, es un don inmerecido, pero voy hacer lo posible para que la gracia de Dios se siga derramando en este mundo a través de mi ministerio sacerdotal.			La respuesta al llamado a mi vocación fue inspirado al amor tan grande que experimente con Dios a través de la renovación carismática, el Señor utilizo a dos grandes hermanos Georgina y Rony, que los llevo en el corazón por la fuerza que me dieron para decirle “si” al Señor. El Señor se dirigió a mí y me dijo… (Jeremías 1:4-10)

	My inspiration to the priesthood came from my parents who sacrificed to educate me and have lived in love and faithfulness to each other and the Church during their 36 years of marriage. Fr. Peter O’Callaghan also influenced me as he showed faithfulness to his ministry and perseverance despite poor health and suffering.			Mi familia fue el pilar para decir sí al llamado que Dios me ha hecho. Principalmente mis abuelos por su ejemplo de vida cristiana, me enseñaron que vale la pena entregarse a Cristo. Gracias a ellos y otras personas que Dios a puesto en mi caminar espero un día configurarme en Cristo.

	I was inspired to my vocation by Fr. Victor Carrillo who told me that I would make a good priest. This opened priesthood as an actual option for my future. I look forward to helping God's people and our Archdiocese grow ever closer to Him.			Desde hace tiempo he sentido un llamado de Dios para ser su servidor, a convertirme en un sacerdote que siembre la semilla del evangelio en las demás personas. El siempre ha estado conmigo a pesar de mi condición humana para ser un instrumento de amor y tener una vida de entrega a Cristo Jesús.

	Mi familia, Fr. John Vougnh, OFM y Fr. Carlos Dávalos han sido modelos de inspiración para responder a Dios en humildad, generosidad y alegría al llamado que ha hecho de mi en su misericordia y de invitación a compartir con su divino hijo el ministerio sacerdotal.			La admiración y respeto de mis papás por los sacerdotes mi mejor inspiración; la santidad y servicio a los demás mi major proyecto en manos de Dios. FIAT!

	Una vez mi amigo, el padre Arkadiusz Szyda, me reguntó si alguna vez había pensando en ser sacerdote. Desde entonces el llamado de Dios comenzó a crecer, y viendo la necesidad de sacerdotes hispanos en San Antonio, decidí entrar al seminario a prepararme para seguir ese llamado.			The inspiration for my vocation to the priesthood came from the Franciscan Friars who raised me in my native country of Somalia I benefited from their care and love that now I want to emulate them in caring for God’s people by sharing my gifts and life with them as I bring them the sacraments. I like to help people and I am especially sensitive to the needs of the suffering.

	I came to my vocation through the mercy of God and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It was through the rosary that Mary brought me into great intimacy with her Son. As I continue this journey to the Priesthood of Christ, I place it in the Lady’s hands to keep me safe and to complete the good work that has begun.			God used a woman’s suggestion, Scripture, and prayer to show me within one hour that He was calling me to the priesthood. After that, I discerned diocesan priesthood and “put out into deep water” to follow Christ (Luke 5:4). It was also my love and trust in Jesus that gave me the direction and courage necessary to enter seminary.

	I decided to become a priest when I was really young; I was about 8 years old. One day I was just watching mass and decided that I wanted to become a priest. I never had one priest that specifically influenced me; all of the priest from Panna Maria influenced my vocation. I have never strayed from this path.			The Holy Spirit touched my heart during my weekend ACTS retreat and changed my life forever. My faith community at St. Luke’s and Fr. Mike Horan, have shown their loving support for my decision to enter seminary. The greatest gift after ordination I can think of is to give myself to the people of the Archdiocese.

	Mi vocación, y la de todo cristiano es en primer lugar buscar la santidad, pero además mi vocación ministerial al sacerdocio es un don y un misterio. El sacerdote es el hombre de la palabra de Dios, el hombre del sacramento, el hombre del misterio de la fe.			My inspiration comes from the kindness and mercy of my mother and father. God has called me to serve in his church and to love all people in Christ Jesus. I want to be a good priest, to work on the salvation of my own soul, and to walk in the trusting hands of the Virgin Mary.
	Homero Rodriguez			Victor R. Valdez
	I have been through many wonderful experiences which have inspired me to follow Christ’s way. The best one is that of being raised by a family whose priority was that I had the necessary tools so as to be confident that God’s love was infinite and that He had a great plan for me. That plan is the road to the priesthood.			The Holy Spirit waked His power through my church ministries to guide me to the priestly vocation. My greatest excitement about being a priest would be celebrating Holy Mass and the Sacraments. I feel very blessed to be on this journey with Jesus Christ.
	James Seiwert			Brian García
	I paid little attention to my call until my high school chaplain inspired me with his good example as did the young community of sisters - their direction and encouragement were invaluable. I was further inspired by the writings of St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, St. Aquinas, à Kempis, and the Ignatian spiritual exercises.			My family first inspired me because of the love they have for each other, for me and for God. Another inspiration is St. Thomas more who under tremendous pressure from Henry VII and other defended the faith fill his lost breath. I look forward to helping defend the faith, help the poor and make the Archdiocese stronger.

	I began discerning my vocation as a young altar boy when Father Kris Bauta asked if I ever considered becoming a priest. His question remained with me throughout college, law school and a brief professional career. I received the gift of the Holy Spirit as confirmation of my calling and I now joyfully anticipate giving my self to the priesthood of Jesus Christ.			My vocation has been influenced by the many people God has lovingly placed in my life, namely my parents and the Rodriguez family. They have always been there to inspire and motivate me and my faith. As a priest I look forward to serving Christ and his people

	My vocation was inspired by the dedication of many people, laity and clergy, who served in the field of education and counseling. They have given me the confidence and faith in God’s presence by providing His strength through the gift of guidance and perseverance. I look forward to serving God and His church as an instrument of His sacramental grace by bringing prayer to people’s everyday lives.			I was inspired to follow my vocation by the examples of dozens of priests and men and women religious who I have known over the last several years. Even though they have given themselves to many different apostolates, I am ever impressed by their unity of purpose – to serve Christ and His Church – and hope to one day be counted among their number.

	I always felt the tug of God in my heart and for many years I attempted to avoid Him. Prayer and influential people in my life I have led me to hear the call of the Lord and finally say yes!
